29 Mar On Entrepreneurship Risk
Much of entrepreneurship involves losing a bit day by day for potential huge gains in the future. It is not intuitive for most humans as we are not built this way. The inverse however, would be a salary – gaining bit by bit daily. Depending on the risk level of the individual, a person could take on more risk by having part ownership in a business i.e. through stock options and still enjoy the stability that comes with a monthly paycheck.
I especially like this video by Garry Tan about joining startups and the risk levels associated with it.
